J. Frog, the once actor, now director of such hit films as “The Frog Prince: Infinity Hop” and “Star Frogs,” is renowned across the movie industry for his fantastic vision. Considered an auteur genius by the industry at large, people are constantly wondering: when will the frog flop? What is the secret of his success?
In truth, J. Frog DOES have a secret. Something that he hasn’t told anyone. Something not even the paparazzi that follow him wherever he goes have any clue of.
In private, J. Frog has always wished to direct musicals.
Having gotten his start in musical theater, from singing for children at a local theme park to being on stage shows in the city, his performance would always be ruined when he would suddenly let out an earth-shattering CROAK!
He lost job after job until one day he got a lucky break as an actor. There his croak was silenced, and he refused to sing ever again.
Yet still the love of the stage musical burned inside of him, and it was that passion for song that pushed him behind the camera, to work his way to be a director.
All for one purpose.
He wanted to craft a musical that would make people sing along, dance, and fall in love. He wanted something those children in the park could enjoy, a masterpiece, that would stand the test of time.
Yet, for years, he could never find the right animals for the job.
Until now.
The script to “Frog-Frog Land” is ready, he is going to direct it, and he hopes it will be a large hit. His production company, Wild On Set, is ready for the big top. Things are shaping up!
Except there is just one problem: he has assembled a crew on a budget. A micro budget.
Cobbled together with pennies, and getting anyone he can get, J. Frog worries that perhaps making this movie will be a bit harder than he expected…
