About Us
Film and Photo Gifts is an online store created by a group of filmmaker and photographer friends who share a passion for our craft (plus, we have a bug for entrepreneurship!).
A long time ago, we noticed a pattern in the type of gifts we would receive from our friends and family. They were usually the same stuff (I won't say what they were because a gift is a gift after all, and what matters is the thought and intention behind them. We love all the gifts we have received for different reasons involving the people who thought about us). This happened most likely because there was not a large offer of gifts for people with our profile or an obvious place where people could be advised about what were good gift ideas for people in our trade. Sometimes, you just need a little advice from someone in the field to get your gift creativity flowing.
Between the 3 of us, we have worked on large Hollywood set behind the cameras, as well as on multiple independent films, film markets, festivals and reality TV. We have interviewed big politicians and businessmen as well as photographed big name YouTubers and A-Listers. We have worked crew jobs and assisted executives at large studios. We have also opened our own production house and served corporate clients. We have worked with multi-million dollar budgets, and we have worked with skeleton crews and using our phones. They point is, we live and breathe film, video and photo. We know the industry and the needs and wants of fellow colleagues.
Following our other passion, entrepreneurship, we opened this store because we wanted to create a space that offered fun, quality and useful gift options for our fellow photo and film creators out there. We know the stuff we sell because we either A)Use it for our work and daily life or B)We would love to receive these items as gifts (we see the value in them). So who better to curate gifts for photographers and filmmakers other than people who love and live the trade (us!)?

However, always remember that behind any gift you choose, the most significant part will always be you. So do not worry about finding the perfect gift. We assure you any gift you find here will be well received and enjoyed. You only have to worry about making it happen!
