“I’m right knackered, when is teatime?”

Grips may be responsible for putting up shades and making sure the camera stands are secure, but when it comes to Chimp Chimpson, he’s got a grip on just about everything.
“I’m very secure in my life, which comes from years of failure. Eventually it all just worked out.”
Chimp grew up working with his father doing construction around England. Despite enjoying the work, he wanted to do something that he felt was “grander,” something that could change the world.
Originally going to college for philosophy, Chimp dropped out when he discovered his view on life was rather simplistic: “get a banana, eat a banana.”
Finding himself dejected and aimless, one windy night he wandered the streets of his native London, leaving a trail of banana peels behind him.
It was then he came across a film set and noticed a stand with a matte black flag on it start to sway and fall in the wind. Instinctively he leapt into action, catching it and holding it up.
Impressed, the producer asked if he’d like to work as a grip, and the rest was history.
Now, he is a trusted grip who has worked with director J. Frog on most of his major blockbusters, becoming a loyal member of Wild On Set.
Yet, even Chimp has his doubts about a frog-led musical called “Frog-Frog Land.” Yet, in the back of his mind, his hard-working father, who loves musicals, told him to stick with it, so he will.
God save the queen.
